Mongrels are the best.

A lot of people don't know about a certain program called 'Mongrels' on BBC Three. I have rarely seen it advertised on television which is sad because it is such a great program. The only reason I caught onto it was because I saw them perform at the Comedy Proms this summer.

Whenever I try to convince people to watch this program, the first thing that throws them off is that the fact it's about animals who are puppets. They immediately think it's a bit kiddy, so did i at first, but trust me this is no children's show. Even though they may include the odd song.

The series revolves around five characters situated in the back of a pub in Millwall, London

Nelson, a 'metrosexual' fox, Marion, a 'borderline-retarded cat' and Vince a sociopathic foul-mouthed fox feature in this clip.

They are joined by Destiny, a self-centered Afghan hound and Kali, a grudge-bearing pigeon.

But out of all the characters I would have to say that Tim, the German badger, has to be my favourite.

Why I love him above all else? Perhaps it's my hidden psychotic thoughts coming through. Is it his charming teeth? His accent?  Who knows?
If you're interested in watching more Mongrels madness, Series 2 is currently on BBC Iplayer and Series 1 is on Amazon for less than £5. Like it? Recommend it to a friend! Get the Mongrels word out there!

Lots of love until next time.

P.S. Sorry if the videos are a bit iffy in presentation.
