Have finally decided to just do it. To open a blog page.
Why am I named curly kinderegg?
Well, to begin with I have naturally curly hair. I am approached by many who say that they want to swap hair with me. What they don't realise that the bouncy thing on my head is the devil in disguise. It may look pretty once I've washed it and it's in nice, organised ringlets, but my God, while I'm trying to wash it, it becomes a jungle of knots. I have to put funny music on to cheer me up during the terrifying process of combing them all out. You would think that I should have got used to it over the 18 years I've been on this Earth, and that my scalp would go numb after the many ordeals. Unfortunately not. My hair always manages to surprise me. It has got better, I admit, by cutting it short so it's just underneath my shoulders (less to deal with), but it's still a great pain in the derrière. Therefore my mind wants me to cut it again, hoping for less knots, but then it might result in me sporting a curly afro as I did for the first eight years of my life. (my hair didn't properly grow until I was eight). But then again, I'm hoping that it would end up being like the lovely Alex Kingston's hair.
If I was cast in a role on TV she would be the perfect person to play my mother, mostly because of the hair. Well, at the moment I can put up with the frizzy mess on my head. But without it, I don't think be the person today. I mean, your hair type can't affect you too much but I think because of putting up with the knots of the years, I can put up with a lot of things. Friends decide for me to lead on outings as I can be spotted in a large crowd so my friends never lose me. There are lots more cons for having my bouncy mess, I just can't think of any right now, so curly haired people, be proud of your friziness, no matter how much it hurts.
Now, for the kinderegg name. It wasn't me who called myself that. It was a P.E teacher. Of all people! The reason she called me that was because of my last name. Personally, I do think I should I have a small bit of the profits the Kinder chocolate company makes, but oh well. Since that dreadful sports lesson, that name has stuck in the minds of my friends, as well as Frizzball, Bouncy and Miss Afro.
Well that's my first post done and dusted. Not sure how much I'll be writing in the future so watch this space.
